Deaf Can:Do’s Auslan short courses, ‘Talking Hands,’ are a fun and interactive introduction to communication with Auslan users.

All classes are presented by a Deaf Auslan Tutor and provide an introduction to this fascinating language. Talking Hands classes enable students to hold basic conversations with Deaf people, and are a great way to meet new people.

Talking Hands 1 can then be followed by Talking Hands 2.

Courses run for 1.5 hours per week over six weeks, select your desired dates from the timetable below to book.

Classes will only proceed with 12 or more registrants.
Classes with not enough registrants will be deferred to another date and monies will be refunded or registrant can join another class of the same value.

Unless otherwise specified, Talking Hands courses take place at Deaf Can:Do's Welland office and run from  6-7.30pm.
